BBC Statements

We have a "legitimate expectation" within English law that official promises be realised. The documents linked to here present the main public face of the Corporation and some key statements from the Trust, the Charter and the "Agreement".

Management Summary October 2007 1. Background

The Audience Engagement Protocol is one of the documents that the Trust must produce in order to set out how it plans to engage with audiences and -

"make sure they [audiences] are at
the heart of decision-making in the future"

The Trust have consulted on the Audience Engagement Protocol using a number of methods, including interactive qualitative events involving members of the public and BBC Trustees.
